The APL Saipan this morning responded to a distress signal of a capsizing boat, turned around, and rescued three men, who were sitting on the upended portion of the boat as it was sinking. This happened about 90 nautical miles north of Saipan.
Kandit confirmed this information with APL Guam general manager Charlie Hermosa.
