(Tumon, Guam) A second sealed case has been filed in the U.S. District Court of the Northern Mariana Islands in as many days, as the cloud grows darker over the fate of Gov. Ralph Torres, his brothers, their wives, and anyone involved in a massive public corruption scandal in the Commonwealth involving the casino.
Anticipation of indictments has been building since the news that former Torres consultant James Chua and others testified before the Grand Jury Tuesday.
Gov. Torres has hired a high-powered New York lawyer to defend him.
One of his brothers retained a Guam-based firm, which in District Court of Guam filings in another case stated its work in Saipan today and tomorrow. The Saipan court's docket does not include any cases for which these attorneys would be making appearances in district court on any other case.
Sources confirm that last night an emergency meeting of the brothers was held at the law offices of Torres Brothers, LLC, the parking lot overflowing.
If one or both cases filed and sealed since yesterday is an indictment, then it only is a matter of time before a public arraignment follows.

Suck it Ralph. Got word tonight, those nonprofits are now on the hit list. That includes Lady Imelda Torre's horse shit charity. I'm going to drink a toast to the FEDS. May they put a certain individual in chains who previously disclaimed and pooh poohed (taki for you locals) the press reports about the fundraiser down in Florida at Trumps palacial grounds. You know who I'm talking about? It's not Shaft (we can dig it). - NO, it's another CNMI political asshole that will remain unmentioned (but he knows that I know his name). I posted his name in the MV in some commments months ago. Yes , that's right - you are that dipshit who said that the press…
I pray the Feds will make him reimburse the people of the CNMI for all the illegal use of OUR money.
Biba! Uncle Arnold!! 😁
Patrick J. Smith? Oh yeah, I believe he's married to Joeten's granddaughter, Sherry I think. See the connection?
Time is running out for the Governor & Crew I pray we have had enough! We need to make sure the Governor doesn't try to charge the people for his attorney fees. NY attorney is just showing off as he will only be plea bargaining.
