Passersby are reporting to Kandit that a major fire is burning outside the main power plant on Cabras Island, and that several employees are standing outside. Witnesses are reporting that one police car is on the scene, but no fire trucks have arrived yet.
One witness says she can see flames from the road.
Kandit has reached out to Guam Power Authority spokeswoman Patti Long Diego and seaport general manager Rory Respicio; we await their response.
