Businessman & crew cook and deliver meals for veterans and front-line workers

(Tumon, Guam) John Ananich, the owner of Sidelines Bar & Grill, donned his apron and face mask today along with his crew of volunteers to serve up barbecue chicken and ribs to veterans, Guam Memorial Hospital employees, the four quarantine sites, and to the mayors for distribution to the elderly.


In a news release, Mr. Ananich states, "Delivery of Meals will begin at 11:00am to GMH, the Quarantine Sites and to the Mayors’ Office in Umatac, Inarajan, Talafofo and Merizo for dissemination to Seniors and needy in their communities.

"Veterans are asked to stop by Sidelines in Tamuning with an ID, to pick up their lunches between 2pm and 4pm. Please note, that the pick-up area will be at the outdoor patio of Sidelines on April 1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th and 10th in efforts to maintain social distancing."
