The Senate Judiciary Committee has not yet received President Trump's appointment of Superior Court of Guam Judge Maria Cenzon to the U.S. District Court of Guam.
This is according to the committee's online records.
In order for Ms. Cenzon to replace Frances Tydingco-Gatewood to the federal bench, Mr. Trump's nomination must be confirmed by the Senate before this Congress adjourns in early January.
Kandit has placed an inquiry to the White House Press Office regarding Ms. Cenzon's nomination.
