(Tumon, Guam) 12-year-old Kaleb Aldan's school community is working the phones contacting parents of his schoolmates to held find Kaleb, according to Department of Education superintendent Jon Fernandez.

Kaleb was last seen getting into a car this afternoon at FB Leon Guerrero Middle School and has not been seen since.

Mr. Fernandez also told Kandit tonight that Department of Public Works bus operators have been assisting with the search.

Kaleb's mother, Katrina Aldan, went to the school, when her son did not come home this afternoon. "He rides the bus," Ms. Aldan said. She called police to report her child missing. Police Officer Donnie Pangelinan responded and told Ms. Aldan that the police could not classify the case as one of a missing child because of two students who told police that Kaleb got into a car with someone.

"I don't know who this person is," Ms. Aldan said. "They don't know what the car looks like."

Ms. Aldan said her son only has ever spent the night at his cousin's house, otherwise he rides the bus home. She is pleading for the community to share the picture of her son to increase the chances he will be found. Please call Ms. Aldan at 483-6030 if you know where Kaleb is, or have information that may lead to his safe return home. If you have reason to believe Kaleb is in any danger, please call 911 right away.
