(Tumon, Guam) Fr. Jeff San Nicolas, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Agana, is in home quarantine after possible exposure to COVID-19 at Guam Memorial Hospital.
Kandit reached out to the Archdiocese to see if the church leader is okay, and received the following message from him to the Catholic faithful this afternoon:
"You may have heard that I am in self quarantine. This is true but be assured I am fine. On March 20, 2020, I went to GMH ICU to administer the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick to two patients critically ill because of the virus. The nurses allowed me to prayer for them outside the patients sealed rooms through their glass door. Afterwards, as a precaution, public health contacted me and asked me to self quarantine until CDC has a chance to talk to me personally. I am still waiting on their call.
"Otherwise, I feel normal and do not have any symptoms."
