Governor lifts eviction moratorium July 1; vaccinated travelers not required to quarantine June 19

Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero, by executive order early this evening, has lifted the more-than-one-year old moratorium on evictions and foreclosures effective July 1. Landlords and banks will be able to commence evictions and foreclosures, respectively, according to the law.


The moratorium has been in place since the public health emergency began March 16, 2020.


Effective after midnight June 19, all incoming travelers who are fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine will be exempt from quarantine.
