(Tumon, Guam) For the first time since Tropical Storm Hagibis's trajectory was determined, Guam has been placed within the main forecasted track of the storm.
An updated tracking model from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center shows how the storm's forecasted track has been consistently moving further south.
The storm is expected to intensify by tomorrow morning into a typhoon and pass through the Marianas tomorrow night.
Kandit will be live in a few minutes on Facebook and YouTube to provide a full briefing on the storm. We anticipate information soon resulting from the governor's meeting with National Weather Service and Civil Defense officials. The meeting got underway at 9 p.m. tonight.
