LISTEN: One male in custody in shooting, according to radio transmissions
By Johnnie Rosario
(Yigo, Guam) A Kandit source of information provided us with a 1:05 minutes recording of the emergency management system radio transmission of police officers corresponding in the aftermath of an officer-involved shooting along the Harmon Cliffline area early this morning.
An officer can be heard relaying that one* male is in custody. Another officer confirms call for a medic.
Shortly after these transmissions, another officer calls Code Red, which directs all on the line to cease all radio transmissions, to contact headquarters, or to dispatch via telephone instead of the EMS.
* Our initial report stated that the radio transmission reported a white male in custody. Following a closer listen to the transmission, it became clear that the officer radioed, "one male in custody."
