Man with imaginary friend steal washing machine from woman

By Johnnie Rosario
(Tumon, Guam) Two days ago, 44-year-old Gerald Johnson was caught on tape taking a washing machine from outside a woman's apartment at Rosie's Apartments in Tamuning.
Mr. Johnson told police that an unknown male asked to borrow his pickup truck. Mr. Johnson denied the request, but offered to help the unknown man, according to prosecutor Christine Santos Tenorio's declaration of probable cause. So Mr. Johnson took his new, nameless stranger friend in his pickup truck to Rosie's Apartments, where he helped this nameless friend to take the washing machine.
Mr. Johnson said the couple were supposed to meet someone at the Cliff Hotel to deliver the washing machine to, but that person did not show up. So, instead they dropped the washing machine onto a grassy area of a private road. "Defendant stated that he does not know the identity of (sic) the anyone else involved and after reviewing the video footage, the Defendant admitted 'ya Officer, that's me driving my truck and helping the guy loading the washing machine into my truck.'"
Ms. Tenorio accuses Mr. Johnson of theft as a misdemeanor.
