NEWS: Governor appoints director to closed agency

By Nancy I. Maanao

(Tumon, Guam) Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero is expanding her high-paid cabinet as she threatens the furlough of rank and file classified employees. The governor today appointed Jillette Leon Guerrero to be executive director of the Council of the Arts and Humanities Agency, which is closed.

Department of Chamorro Affairs president Ann Marie Arceo has been filling in the executive director's position, which has been vacant for years, following former Gov. Eddie Calvo's reorganization of CAHA under DCA.

The vacant position was accounted for in the Fiscal Year 2020 budget, but left unfunded.

The appointment is being made at a time, when COVID-19 clinics are not being compensated, and when GovGuam front liners are having to fight for pay they have earned and accrued.

Really! REALLY! rEALLY! It's SMH and LMAO 4EeevveerrRR baila! The goober-na Little LouLG appointed Juliiet Leon Guerrero, a RELATIVE LONG LOSS into a non-existent position that was wiped away by the past ex-gov. Calvo. That action was done for Fiduciary purposes. And goober-na Little LouLG really dictates the NEED of this position during a National Pandemic Crisis. And what will Juliet Leon Guerrero offer the American Guamanian Public? How to be Artistically Chamorro Cultured during the Stay At Home edict? Fiduciary Wise and Re-Election campaigning? And what ART TALENT does Juliet bring to the Table? Juliet appears as an Yikes-Banez flop!
