NEWS: Kid contracts Coronavirus from family event

(Tumon, Guam) A child between the ages of 10 and 19 contracted the Coronavirus from a family event, further underscoring Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero's call to ban such gatherings to stop the spread of the virus.

A one year old baby, and four other children in the ages 10-19 bracket also have the virus, according to Linda DeNorcey, director of public health. Of the six children who contracted the Coronavirus:

  • 1 was from a family event

  • 1 was from travel from Hawaii

  • 4 were from household contact

The information was part of the latest release of the profiles of the existing 112 infection count. Of that count, 23 have recovered and four died (previously reported).

Ms. Leon Guerrero has issued new orders banning people from gathering at other people's homes, on top of the ban on public gatherings of people. According to her order, people who violate the ban will be subject to fines.

However in a news conference this past weekend, Ms. Leon Guerrero admitted she does not have the authority to enforce these latest orders, and ironically, is asking senators to go into session to give her such powers.

Speaker Tina Muna Barnes has drafted legislation that makes it a crime to violate the governor's unilateral orders, punishable by a $5,000 fine, a year in jail, or both.

I recently watched a video of a doctor, Eric Nepute, MD, who was angry. Actually VERY angry. In the video the doctor claims that the Covid-19 can be cured in two days by taking two over-the-counter products. The first is Quinine, or Tonic Water (which contains quinine) and zinc tablets. The doctor recommends 3-4 ounces of Tonic Water - similar to the anti-malaria drug), and 100-200mg of zinc. The doctor's protocol is not, and will never be, FDA approved: it is totally anecdotal. But he has had an impressive cure rate, and is passionate about these two products curing the virus fairly quickly. The link below requires Facebook.
