(Tumon, Guam) Albert Leano, 42, beat his wife in the parking lot of the Micronesia Mall around 7 p.m. on February 3, 2020, according to a declaration of probable cause by prosecutor Benjamin Paholke.
According to Mr. Paholke, Mr. Leano slapped his wife, then repeatedly punched her face and arm after arguing in the parking lot.
He left her in the parking lot adjacent to Payless Supermarket, then returned around 8:30 p.m. and beat her even more, according to the declaration. He told her to go home.
Instead, she drove to the Dededo Police Precinct and filed a criminal complaint against her husband. Police noticed she had a black eye, cuts and bruises to her face, and bruises on her arms.
Mr. Leano was arrested and confessed to the crimes. He is being charged with two counts of family violence as a misdemeanor.
The Office of the Attorney General has not stated whether they will charge him with infinite counts of being an asshole and a punk-ass bitch.
