NEWS: MSN cancels trip back home to prevent introduction of COVID from DC area to Guam

The following is a news release from the Office of Congressman Michael San Nicolas:

(Washington, D.C.) With recent confirmed cases of coronavirus in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Congressman San Nicolas has decided to forego traveling to Guam during the month of March, with future month travels to also be further evaluated.

"The last thing I want to do is expose our people to any coronavirus risk that I may be exposed to here in DC, with Guam continuing to have no confirmed cases," said Congressman San Nicolas. "We will continue the work here to marshall additional federal support to combat the pandemic, and will coordinate closely with Guam District managment to ensure constituent needs continue to be met with proper health and safety protocols in place," Congressman San Nicolas added.

"Keeping our people safe and reducing exposures as much as possible must be a priority of ours, and we will continue to do our part," Congressman San Nicolas concluded.
