(Hagatna, Guam) Police Tuesday morning were busy saving two women in separate family violence events.
Around 1:13 a.m. that day, police officers responded to a complaint at a house on Nino Perdido Street in Agat. There they found a woman and her boyfriend, Lucas Gray Jesus. Officers noted she had multiple areas of redness on her right shoulder area.
She told officers that as she was driving, the two began arguing, and Mr. Jesus hit her four times with a flashlight. Mr. Jesus confirmed her account to officers, according to prosecutor Leonardo Rapadas's declaration of probable cause against Mr. Jesus.
Mr. Rapadas is bringing a misdemeanor family violence charge against him.

Later that morning, at around 9:09 a.m., police officers responded to a disturbance complaint in Dededo. A woman said that she and her boyfriend, Davin Willy, were arguing, when she started to walk away from him. He punched her in the face, she said.
Mr. Willy told officers he hit her shoulder with an open palm. Police officers noticed the woman had a black eye.
Prosecutor Renaida San Nicolas is bringing a misdemeanor family violence charge against Mr. Willy.
