Pair arrested on gun and drug charges following shooting in Dededo

The following is news from the Guam Police Department:


On August 4, 2021, at about 6:47 pm, Officers from Dededo Precinct responded to a shooting in the Stampa Rd. located off of Route 28, Dededo. As a result of the investigation made by officers from Dededo Precinct and Special Investigation Section (SIS) they confiscated a firearm and controlled substance, suspected crystal methamphetamines with total gross weight of 85.18 grams


The individuals were later identified to be:


Kenneth Reyes, 55

Jenessa Tydingco, 39


As a result of the investigation, Reyes was arrested and confined at the Department of Correction for the following offenses:

  1. Reckless Conduct

  2. Purchase or Possess/Use or carry firearm without a valid ID

  3. Discharge of a firearm

  4. firearm unregistered

  5. Illegal Possession of a controlled substance

  6. Illegal Possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute

Tydingco was arrested and confined at the Department of Corrections for the following offenses:

  1. Illegal Possession of a controlled substance

  2. Illegal Possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute

The case was closed and forwarded the Attorney General’s office for their information and disposition.
