Pair charged with animal abuse for shooting dog with pellet gun in Harmon



The following is a news release from the Office of the Attorney General of Guam:


Daimeionne Kaleo Greer and Jesse Pu Villagomez, Jr. have been charged for injuring a dog with a pellet rifle in the Harmon Industrial Road area in November 2020. An examination of the dog indicated that the injuries sustained did not create a substantial risk of death or serious physical injuries, but did leave the dog limping, swollen, and with a wound.

Based on the nature of the injuries, Greer was charged with Animal Abuse in the Second Degree as a Misdemeanor. Villagomez was charged with Animal Abuse in the Second Degree, Guilt Established by Complicity, as a Misdemeanor.

The court will now issue a summons and schedule a hearing.
