Federal judge Frances Tydingco Gatewood will be keeping her job at the U.S. District Court of Guam at least a bit longer.

President Trump’s nomination of Maria Cenzon to replace Ms. Gatewood expired, when the Senate of the 116th U.S. Congress adjourned January 3, 2021.

Mr. Trump sent the Senate his appointment on November 20, 2020, but the Senate Judiciary Committee did not move the nomination forward.

The Senate returned the failed nomination to the President.
