The following is news from the Guam Police Department:
The Guam Police Department is currently investigating the report of found skeletal remains by the Navy Substation in Maina.
Preliminary reports suggest that on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, a ground maintenance worker discovered the skeletal remains by the jungle line near the Substation.
Detectives from GPD'S Criminal Investigation Division were activated in which the skeletal remains, which appeared to be aged, were collected and delivered to the Chief Medical Examiner's office for an examination.
This case remains open pending the findings from the Chief Medical Examiner.
