Kandit News Group joins the people of the Marianas in mourning the death of former Gov. Froilan Tenorio of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Mr. Tenorio led the people of the Commonwealth through a period of unprecedented economic prosperity, and left office having reversed the CNMI government's finances from red to black.
Former Gov. Carlos Camacho, and the late Governors Pedro P. Tenorio, Lorenzo I. DeLeon Guerrero, and Froilan Tenorio were all neighbors in a small village called Chalan Kanoa District No. 3. They grew up together after World War II. They all were instrumental in the political history of the CNMI.
We give our condolences to and stand in solidarity with his wife, Grace, their children and their grandchildren.
