U.S. Attorney mum on whether Torres Brothers were indicted

The United States Attorney for Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, Shawn Anderson, is not letting on whether any of the five criminal cases filed under seal last week Thursday involve the indictments or investigation into Gov. Ralph Torres, his family, or his cronies.

Mr. Anderson responded today to Kandit's question on the matter:

Kandit to the U.S. Attorney: "Has the U.S. Attorney filed criminal cases over the past week against the governor of the CNMI, any of his brothers, any of their wives, or any of his cabinet members?"

The U.S. Attorney to Kandit: "We can neither confirm nor deny any pending investigations."
