Yona mayor indicted by feds

(Tumon, Guam) The mayor of Yona is facing federal criminal charges of extortion and bribery related to drug trafficking. He was indicted in the U.S. District Court of Guam and arrested last week.
Mayor Jesse Blas was elected in 2016 to lead one of the largest villages on this island. He served as former Mayor Ken Joe Ada's administrative officer after serving as a deputy Marshal in the Guam Judiciary.
